1. By booking Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd by telephone, e-mail or web site the client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd.

2. All costs for cleaning services carried out on a regular daily or weekly basis should be paid by cash, standing order, BACS transfer, debit/credit card or cheque (made payable to Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd) upon the completion of work unless other arrangements have been made with Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd.

3.Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd. will exercise our right to claim statutory interest (at 8 per cent over the current Bank of England base rate) and compensation for recovery costs and administrative fees under late payment legislation if money owed is not received by the agreed date and under the agreed credit terms. The client will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a dishonoured cheque.

4. No cleaning work will be undertaken unless the client settles all the outstanding balances.

5. Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd has a comprehensive public and employer’s liability insurance. (up to £1,000,000).

6. The client accepts and understands that if something is damaged, broken or stolen and Pink Swan Cleaning is liable we will endeavour to replace it on a like for like basis. If this is not possible, the client will be credited with the cash value of the items. That includes, for example; items of sentimental value, art, antiques, etc.

7. In the event of lost keys Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd will arrange for locks to be replaced by one of our contractors and will cover these costs.

8. All damages, breakage, theft or poor cleaning service must be reported within 24 hours of our cleaning services date, otherwise the claim will be invalid.

9. The client is responsible for providing house cleaning or office cleaning materials and equipment if they have selected the option that involves the use of their own products/materials/equipment.

10. If you do wish for your cleaner to use your own products, Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd. cannot be held liable if inappropriate products are supplied that do not produce optimum results or in any way damage your premises or furniture.

11. Any poor service must be reported within 24 hours of our service date to Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd. This will be rectified within a week of the clean at no extra cost.

12. The initial number of working hours or any price that has been estimated for a service is subject to change. This is because it is difficult to estimate exactly how much time the cleaning work might take.

13. The price at which work has been assessed does not include anything apart from our standard cleaning specifications unless any special requirements have been requested and agreed upon before a service commences.

14. The client may cancel a single cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice in advance. The client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit if the client cancels or changes the day/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

15. The Client agrees to pay for all parking costs and congestion charges (if applicable) for any services carried out by our cleaners which require the use of our products/materials or equipment when free parking cannot be allocated.

16. The Client may have to pay a small deposit for certain services in order to secure an appointment. This is at managements discretion.

17. The domestic sector client has the right to terminate any contracted regular cleaning services by giving two weeks advance notice.

18. The office sector client has the right to terminate any contracted cleaning services by giving eight weeks advance notice unless the contract stipulates otherwise. The price for our services is subject to change on an annual basis due to increases in operating costs.

19. The cleaner may be replaced if the client finds her/his work inadequate.

20. Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd will provide a replacement cleaner if your regular cleaner is sick or unavailable.

21. The client can reduce the number of contracted working hours by giving at least 2 weeks advance notice in writing.

22.The client accepts and understands that when our cleaners use the clients’ products/materials and equipment they will be using public transport to come to you and any delays or strikes by London underground and London buses might affect the cleaner’s punctuality.

23. Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd reserves the right not to be held liable for any cleaning services left incomplete due to the lack of appropriate office or house cleaning materials or equipment (especially vacuum cleaners and irons) in full working order, hot water, insufficient lighting or lack of power.

24. Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd will not be responsible for failing to remove old permanent stains that cannot be removed using normal carpet cleaning or upholstery cleaning materials and techniques.

25. Pink Swan Cleaning will not be responsible for discolouring of fabrics that become more visible once soil has been removed.

26. All quotes provided for end of tenancy cleaning are based on average property sizes and for properties that are in a reasonable lived in condition. Any properties that fall outside these criteria may be subject to additional charges unless a property is viewed and assessed beforehand and a set price is agreed upon.

27. After any viewing/assessment, the agreed upon price for future cleaning work is based on the condition the property or the area to be cleaned, on the day of the viewing/assessment. If this condition deteriorates between the day of the viewing/assessment and the actual cleaning date, the price may be subject to an increase to take into consideration the further cleaning required.

28. The client is not allowed to employ any Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd cleaners for at least 12 months after the termination of services by Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd.

29. Working with Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd is based on trust. Both the client and Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd are obligated not to disclose any confidential information about each other to any third parties

30. I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd and understand that my acceptance is confirmed once any booking has been made through Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd’s website, email address, telephone number or staff. I agree that these Terms and Conditions form the basis of my contract with Pink Swan Cleaning Ltd.

31. Legal action will be taken immediately against any person who breaches these terms and conditions.
